Krishna reveals his cosmic nature — he is both the manifest (Prakriti — material) and the unmanifest (Purusha — spirit). He is the cause of all existence. Four types of people approach Krishna: the distressed, the seeker of knowledge, the seeker of wealth, and the wise. Among these, the wise are dearest to Krishna.
