वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटिसमप्रभ । निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

Vakra-Tuṇḍa Mahā-Kāya Sūrya-Koṭi Sama-Prabha / Nirvighnaṃ Kuru me Deva Sarva-Kāryeṣu Sarvadā

English Translation

O curved-trunked, mighty-bodied Lord, equal in radiance to ten million suns — please make all my endeavors free from obstacles, always.

Context & Significance

The most-recited Ganesha invocation — chanted before starting any new work, ritual, or undertaking. The standard opening prayer of nearly every Hindu ceremony.
