Pradosham is the twilight hour on the 13th day (Trayodashi) of each lunar fortnight — sacred to Lord Shiva. The 1.5-hour window (90 minutes around sunset) on Trayodashi is the most powerful time for Shiva worship in the entire month. Each weekday's Pradosham has a special name: Som Pradosham (Monday), Bhauma Pradosham (Tuesday), Shani Pradosham (Saturday — most powerful for relief from Saturn afflictions).
