Bhagavad Gita Chapter 11
Vishwarupa Darshana Yoga — విశ్వరూప దర్శన యోగం
55 verses · The Vision of the Universal Form
Arjuna asks to see Krishna's cosmic form. Krishna grants him divya chakshu (divine sight) and reveals himself as the entire universe — all gods, beings, weapons, time itself. Arjuna is terrified and overwhelmed. He sees the Kauravas already swallowed by Krishna's mouths of time. He begs Krishna to return to his familiar form. This is the most visually dramatic chapter.
Key Verse
कालोऽस्मि लोकक्षयकृत्प्रवृद्धो — I am Time, the great destroyer of worlds.
Kālo'smi loka-kṣaya-kṛt pravṛddho
నేను కాలం — లోకాలను నశింపజేసేవాడిని
Spiritual Lesson
The Divine includes both creation and destruction. To see God only as benevolent is incomplete vision — the truly devotional eye sees the cosmic cycle in its totality.
