Vedic Rules for Namakaran (Baby Naming)
- Traditionally performed on the 11th or 12th day after birth
- Name should begin with the syllable indicated by the child's birth Nakshatra
- Avoid Rahu Kalam and Yamagandam during the ceremony
- Father whispers the name in the child's right ear
- Name should have auspicious meaning

- జననం తర్వాత 11వ లేదా 12వ రోజున నామకరణం చేయడం సంప్రదాయం
- పిల్లల జన్మ నక్షత్రానికి అనుగుణంగా పేరు మొదలుపెట్టే అక్షరం ఎంచుకోవాలి
- రాహు కాలం, యమగండంలో ముహూర్తం ఉంచకూడదు
