Placement Rules
- Place in NORTH wall of the home — Kubera's direction
- Height: Above eye-level when standing
- Frame: Copper or gold-plated only (NOT plastic or wooden)
- Behind the yantra: nothing — solid wall only
- Worship direction: Face North when worshipping
Activation (Prana Pratishtha)
Before first use, the yantra must be energized:
- Bathe the yantra in panchamrita (milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar) on a Wednesday morning
- Wipe clean with cotton
- Apply yellow sandalwood paste (chandanam)
- Recite Kubera Beej Mantra 108 times: "Om Yakshyaya Kuberaya Vaishravanaya Dhanadhanya Adhipataye Dhana Dhanya Samruddhim Me Dehi Dapaya Swaha" (ఓం యక్షాయ కుబేరాయ వైశ్రవణాయ ధనధాన్యాధిపతయే ధనధాన్యసమృద్ధిం మే దేహి దాపయ స్వాహా)
- Light a ghee lamp and place the yantra on the North wall
Daily Worship
Daily morning offering: ghee lamp + yellow flowers + akshat + Kubera beej mantra 21 times. Wednesday (Mercury day) is the most powerful day for Kubera worship.
