Andhra Pradesh and Telangana carry a circuit that can be done in a series of weekends rather than a lifetime: Tirumala and Tiruchanur in the south, Srisailam and Mahanandi in the Nallamalas, Vijayawada and Mangalagiri on the Krishna, Simhachalam and Annavaram on the coast, Yadagirigutta and Vemulawada in Telangana.

When to go
The Vishnu temples — Tirumala, Simhachalam, Mangalagiri, Yadagirigutta, Annavaram — follow Ekadashi, twice a month, with Vaikunta Ekadashi as the year's peak. The Shiva temples — Srisailam, Mahanandi, Vemulawada — follow Pradosham. The Devi temples — Kanaka Durga and Tiruchanur — follow Purnima, Fridays and Navratri. Where a trip covers more than one, the Purnima and Ekadashi dates below are the usual compromise.
Planning notes
- Tirumala darshan is booked through TTD's own channels and the quota opens well in advance; Vaikunta Ekadashi and Brahmotsavam are the two windows where an unbooked walk-in means a very long wait.
- Some pairs are close enough to do in one outing: Srisailam and Mahanandi in the Nallamalas, Kanaka Durga at Vijayawada and Mangalagiri on the Krishna, Tirumala and Tiruchanur. Check current road and ghat-road conditions before the Nallamala leg.
- Every temple sets its own darshan hours and its own dress code, and both change on festival days. Check the temple's own page and its own announcements before travelling.

Darshan hours, queue systems, accommodation and fares are set by each temple trust and change without notice — take them from the trust's own website or counter, never from a third party. We do not sell darshan, take bookings or arrange travel.
