Astrological Events 2026-2028 — Eclipse, Transits & Retrogrades

Major astrological events shape the cosmic backdrop of our lives — planetary transits change the dasha-bhukti effects, eclipses amplify spiritual energies, and retrogrades invite introspection on the themes of the retrograde planet. Tracking these events helps with muhurat selection, parihara timing, and conscious living through significant cosmic phases.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do astrological events affect me personally?

General planetary events affect everyone, but the intensity depends on your janma rashi and current dasha period. A Saturn transit through Aquarius affects Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces natives most strongly (Sade Sati). To see how an event applies to you, check your kundli and current dasha.

Are eclipses dangerous?

Eclipses are not "dangerous" in any modern sense, but Vedic tradition treats them as spiritually heightened times. Sutak (the inauspicious window before eclipse peak) is observed by avoiding cooking, eating, and home worship — but using the time for mantra chanting, which is exponentially more potent during eclipses. Pregnant women are traditionally advised extra caution.

What's the difference between transit and dasha?

Transit (gochara) = current actual position of planets in the sky, affecting everyone based on their rashi. Dasha = your personal life-cycle of planetary periods determined by your birth nakshatra (Vimshottari is the most common system, 120-year cycle). Effects compound: a malefic transit during a malefic dasha amplifies impact.
